Gomper

Gomper was the first goat to arrive on the farm—the one who started it all. I spotted him online as a bottle baby, and his bold, eye-catching markings stopped me in my tracks. I jumped at the chance to bring him home, and that decision marked the beginning of my dream to raise and milk goats.
Mostly Boer with a touch of Nubian, Gomper combines the strength and hardiness of a meat breed with the dairy influence that’s helping shape the future of the herd. Raised on the bottle, he grew into a friendly, confident buck with a curious spirit and a whole lot of personality.
Now serving as the farm’s herd sire, Gomper plays a key role in building the next generation—bringing strong genetics, unique coloring, and his unmistakable presence to the herd. He may have been the first, but he’s far from alone now. Gomper laid the foundation, and his legacy is already beginning to grow.

Carrie
Carrie is a purebred Nubian goat, welcomed to the farm in May 2024. Born in October of 2023, she has grown into a striking young doe with the signature long ears and gentle eyes that make Nubians so endearing.
Carrie carries herself with quiet confidence, already showing the calm, steady temperament that makes for an excellent milker. She officially joined the ranks of motherhood on April 2, 2025, giving birth to her first kid—a healthy little doeling.
As she settles into her role as both mother and milk goat, Carrie is already proving to be a valuable and beloved part of the herd. With her strong dairy lineage and sweet personality, she’s one to watch in the seasons to come.

Farrah
Farrah is a purebred Nubian doe who joined the farm in April 2024, arriving from the same trusted breeder as her herdmate, Carrie. With her elegant profile and classic Nubian charm, Farrah quickly settled in and became a standout among the herd.
Though she’s still young, Farrah shows great promise as a future milk goat. She’s inquisitive, alert, and always seems to be the first to investigate anything new on the farm. Her playful spirit adds a little spark to the barnyard, but when it’s time to settle down, she’s just as content to lean in for a quiet scratch behind the ears.
Farrah is expected to join the milking lineup soon, and all signs point to her being an excellent addition. With strong genetics and a curious, friendly nature, Farrah is well on her way to becoming a farm favorite.

Louise
Louise is a striking Nubian-Boer cross who came to the farm in April 2024. Heavily pregnant on arrival, she wasted no time making herself known—kicking off her new life here by giving birth just a few days later. Her surprise timing earned her the title of the very first milking goat on the farm.
At first, Louise was a bit wild, unsure of her new surroundings and wary of being handled. But with a little patience and consistency, she began to settle, revealing a calm, gentle side that has made her an absolute joy to work with. These days, she stands quietly for milking, her early nerves replaced by trust and routine.
Louise paved the way for the dairy herd to come, and her steady presence continues to shape the rhythm of the barn. With her solid build, quiet strength, and maternal instincts, she’s become a cornerstone of the goat crew—proof that sometimes the best ones just need a little time to blossom.

Thelma
Thelma is a spirited Nubian-Boer cross who came to the farm in April 2024, arriving alongside her companion Louise from the same breeder. Unlike Louise, Thelma wasn’t pregnant—she came as a companion doe, though the hope is she’ll kid in the future.
When she first arrived, Thelma was anything but calm. She was wild and wary, keeping her distance and making it clear she wasn’t quite ready to trust. But with time, patience, and the steady rhythm of daily farm life, she’s begun to soften around the edges—still independent and a little stubborn, but no longer so quick to flee.
Though she hasn’t yet stepped into the role of mother or milker, Thelma’s journey is one of quiet progress. She’s learning to accept touch, to trust the routine, and to be part of the herd. There’s a spark in her that hints at potential, and when the time comes for her to kid, she just might surprise everyone again—just like she did when she first arrived.

Sammie

Sammie was born right here on the farm on April 10, 2024—just days after his mother, Louise, arrived. She surprised us with a big, healthy ten-pound boy, and from the moment he hit the ground, Sammie made it clear he was something special.
As the first kid born on the farm, Sammie carries a bit of legacy in his blood. A Nubian-Boer cross with strong build and good instincts, he’s already showing the traits of a solid future herd sire. With Gomper leading the way, Sammie is growing up with a clear purpose: to help expand and strengthen the herd with the same hardy, milk-friendly genetics that started it all.
Still young but full of promise, Sammie is a mix of power and potential—a farm-raised buck with deep roots and a bright future. Watching him grow has been a reminder of how far the herd has come in such a short time—and how much more is yet to come.

Sansa

Sansa made her grand entrance on April 2, 2025, as the firstborn kid of Carrie, the purebred Nubian doe. With her father Gomper’s characteristic spots marking her, it’s clear she’s already got her own unique look—and the same bold spirit to match.
Though she’s still learning the ropes, Sansa’s playful energy is impossible to miss. She’s already jumping and bouncing about, her legs growing stronger by the day as she explores the world around her. Sweet and curious, she’s a natural at making her presence known with her little hops and bleats.
As Carrie’s first kid, Sansa holds a special place on the farm. Watching her grow, learn, and develop her personality is a reminder of the new beginnings that each spring brings. She’s got big shoes to fill one day, but for now, Sansa is just enjoying being a kid—and bringing a lot of joy to the farm in the process.
